Spirited Away Aburaya Papercraft Book

I just dropped few thousands on a new laptop. I'm out of money. Can someone buy this for me, please! I did said please!

1/150 Spirited Away Aburaya by Sankei | HobbyLink Japan

Holly cow! $610.00 for a papercraft book, sale price! And I thought my How's Moving Castle book was going up the roof at $300. Even if I have money, Noway i will drop 600 bucks on it.

yeah, that has to be a typo?
Looks like a nice model, but not that nice!

$600 for a first edition signed Douglas Adams sounds like a better deal.

Think of how much work went into that though, and it's detailed enough that the sales will be very low because most normal people (like me) would never build this model even though I loved the movie

So, that price seems about right.

If you look at the other stuff they are selling it must be a small mistake,
the most expensive papermodel is as far as I know the original Alan Rose DC3 at 200$, or a life-size battle droid from Star-wars at 400$(or more)

I an not so certain it is a mistake - a small house goes for 50 to 60 dollars!

Hi:
Sankei models are laser cut cardboard.
This is going out of the chart indeed. I think the idea behind it is to create a "collectors item".
Sankei is not cheap comparing with standard papermodels in book form, but the quality is very good. I built a tiny station in 1/150 and have another waiting in 1/80.
The only really disappointing in their models is that the roofs are just a flat print. So those beautiful green roofs mast also be just flat plates.
By the way, when i first saw the advertisement to the model i went aroud eager to know how much it would cost. Goodduck used milder words...
Rgds
Carlos
