Anthropomorphic Global Warming...,
Global climate confusion must be the root cause of all the uncomfortable weather conditions.
The science of climatology has become a popular way for some to earn fame and fortune. The reality is no one really knows quite how it works yet. The human species can stand a few degrees of warming - a few degrees of cooling, on the other hand, would be an unmitigated disaster..., The planet? It will still be where it's always been regardless of human folly..., Today: 42 dF in the morning warming to a high of 55 dF and sunny. Tonight: Dark with more darkness toward dawn. Tomorrow: Cloudy with 50% chance of rain..., +Gil |

I agree with Gil,
Darn humans don't have enough data to really know what is going on with the planet. Like George Carlin once said,,, "The only reason the planet created humans is because it wanted PLASTIC. Now that it has PLASTIC it will shed humans like so many fleas off of a dogs back." Weather here in Minnesota changes day to day. Got lots of snow a few days ago which will probably stay till spring. Warm for us is anything above freezing. But then we just take what we get and continue to be happy that we have friends and family and Paper Modeling. If they really want to stop global warming, they need to stop those volcanoes from spewing 100s of times more greenhouse gases than all human activity combined. I don't mind them suggesting we get more forests going, though.
Going back to the F vs C discussion, interesting tidbit I got off a friend in Edmonton (actually Edmonton is the closest city) is -40 is -40.

We are freaking freezing here in San Diego. Been in the 50's. Had to turn on the furnace and the air conditioning hasn't turned on for a week.

I was curious about this thread until all the weather stuff... ?
I think the point has been made Hopefully this is on topic: Fan Art Law at Comic-Con 2012 - YouTube It was posted by DeviantArt and is over an hour long; I just skimmed it but a lot of the information is relevant. Many of us here create work that is not fully our own. The property rights/copyright/fair use etc topic has been the subject of numerous threads and overall has a lot of questions and not a lot of answers; at least there seems to be some interest in balancing creative freedom and respecting the rights of others. Maybe it is just too much of a gray area for any concrete answers but I would still like to be more informed on this subject
