Wood sculptures
Other than that, they are the most beautiful things I've seen in quite a while. Real, old-time Disney's best scenes in real, old-time Disney perfect "animated" looks (from latin "anima", which means soul)

Oh Wow ! Have I bookmarked that or what?

Dunno why, but although I've been in love with her ever since I first saw the film as a wee chavvie, I have never realised that Walt's Snow White is actually older than I am. Most of the carvings are marked 1937.

Don't care ... I'll be her Toy Boy any day.

Johnny.

Wow, those are great. Knew a guy years ago that build circus models. He'd literally been one of those who ran away and joined the circus before a career in the Air Force. He was know for his handcarved 1/24 scale animals and performers. Really wish I'd bought an elephant off of him. Lost track of him over 20 years ago and he'd be in his 90's now.

OK ... At first sight I commented "Oh Wow !" and book marked it to read later ...

Now I've read right through the whole story ... and what can I add to Wow ... Honest, I'm almost speechless. Not only some of the most fantastic works of art, but what a marvelous man, and a story so well told.

Honest guys, you just gotta read through it all. Talk about inspirational.

The view count should go through the roof on this one.

Johnny.

Thanks for that link, ARMORMAN. I totally love that site and I plan to devour it completely. I've long been a fan of modern comic character sculptors and do some sculpting myself. The amount of work in those shadowboxes is amazing. One of my back burner projects is to produce some original concept polymer clay based comic style relief wall hangings, so this stuff is very inspirational to me.
