At 4:30pm in Worcester, Mass., my brother carried another cord of firewood into the garage, took off his soaked parka, and then went into the kitchen to cook a hot meal to get some feeling back into his body.

At the same time in Ocala, Florida, I paused during my walk in the park to take another gulp of cold water from my thermos and cursed myself for going outside in a t-shirt and shorts without putting any sunscreen on.

I hope all of you who are in the storm stay safe, warm, and healthy.

u should've seen me at the last one u would mistake me for a soldier in operation desert storm (full face mask sunglasses boots u know the full gear) and u got that right sand gets in everything

lucky us we only got 8". but then 2 days later we got about 2" of freezing rain-which turned into one big skating rink!
luckily, i got glue!!!
