Mike-
I'll second the advice about patience- I'm on week SIX of a model project that should have been finished in two weeks at most (spare evenings). Each time something didn't go as planned, I forced myself to step back and try and look at it with fresh eyes. The upside is I now know what doesn't work! Good on you for learning new techniques! In a couple of months I bet you'll look back with pride at everything new you've learned.

Yep - patience is the key here. It takes a while to transition to any new building technique (or a new designer's peculiarities ...)

Dear Mike:
Now that you have a pair of good Fiskars with the micro-tip, Look into getting a fiskars $10.00 Sharpener for them Each time I use them I sharpen them. Good Luck, MILES If Walmart Does not have the sharpener A good fabric store or craft market will have them. |
