I use the free Pepakura viewer to open PDO files Pepakura Designer

Thanks for the tip. I downloaded the viewer, and the Asterix files opened themselves. And by the way: the collectiuon visitors counter is now fast approaching 37.000. All the more reason for YOU! to send me your pictures!

I got the Dogmatix (Idefix) file OK, but the Asterix .rar came through corrupted.
Managed to open a couple of the files in it ... one giving me just the helmet, and another just the belt. Tried several times, but the .rar file still kept coming through corrupted. My desire for the model was not really that strong though, so I gave up trying and moved on to other things. Johnny.
