piracy can sometimes be fought

After the very recent case of illegal downloads via the Russian site (the Super Connie threads), I decided to contact them (again, I tried this several years ago,too). This time I got an immediate and very positive reaction; my own publications were removed instantly. I then explained that there were a great many other illegal downloads on their site. Dimitri explained that their site was in fact a forum, and that members were allowed to post such files... I then sent a list covering a few of the pages - and once again, just a few hours later, a message to confirm they had removed them all, and asking me for advice on how to avoid this in future. I have complimented them on their correct reaction and attitude.
Thought I'd inform you people that positive action sometimes works.

Wow.............. maybe there is hope for World Peace.

This just goes to show that all you need to do is talk to people and explain things and get things right.

I must admit that I have been very jaded about pirated models on sites and not being able to do anything about them, that I have just about gave up trying to get them removed.

Diderick I applaud your efforts in removing yours and other pirated models from the net! Great Work!!!
