Kevin, nothing wrong with plastic, it's still model building anyway.

Pete, where can you get paint at £1.60 a tin. I pay double that at my local store.

The fun of that 1/12 Merc kit is the huuuuge amount of stuff you got to make and add yourself to get it in the state that Phil Smith got it in. He's one of the best model builders I know of. Once, When I have more time than sense, I will start that one. And selling even one of those kits is out of the question, I am afraid, Les.

I still buy a plastic kit every now and then. Between school, work, and four kids, just cant seem to find much time to build. But I just decided to star one of my Pocher kits last week. I also have a 1/72 shuttle with launch tower. Don't know where I'd display it if I built it.

I've got a box of plastic kits around here somewhere. Last I recall, there was a half assembled model of US Space shuttle, USS Arizona, USS Constitution (Old Ironsides) and I think a balsa model P-40 Warhawk. Plus GKW else. Haven't seen it since we moved. Must be in my storage unit, also known as the valley of no return. Good luck finding anything in there!!
