If Chris goes missing.... this is why.....
So my son joined the Sun Prairie Youth Cycling Team... I went biking with him the first time on my commuter bike. NOT PRETTY! I was all over the place with very little control.
Went and got myself a new bike! Now I can be a crazy bastard and really hurt myself....  Chris

Maybe you forgot to purchase the training wheels?  Make sure you are wearing a helmet as well. Have fun. Isaac

Bought a GT Avalanche 3.0 MTB a few years back. Went on the trails, mistimed a jump and landed on my head... Hit the ground so hard, my helmet cracked and too make matters worse/better(?), my bike landed on top of me. Got up with a bruised head, grazed back from shoulder to hip, bike didn't have a scratch.
Lots of fun hitting the trails, way more fun than "ordinary" road cycling. Enjoy it!

Roll bar! I knew I forgot an accessory...
I wear a helmet when I go around the block I am going to get the front shock setup tonight. never had one that actually worked like it should, this one is a much better quality though than my previous bikes. NYC - recumbants are cool - no way I am pulling my kid around on mountain biking trails

I got up last night,
tripped over the remote, and almost hit the TV... I think there was a silly commercial about Biking on there. I went to the toilet. mmmmm more Pizza. what were we talking about?
