Yep,
I agree that it is a Red Eared turtle.
Had one for a pet when I was a kid.
Fed mine food from the pet store.
Go to one and they will help you keep it fed and
keep the water clean and changed.
Put it in a pool large enough for it to swim, but make a
place for it to get out of the water and be able to
sit and dry off a bit when it wants to.
Take it out for walks and playtime too.
They are nice pets.
Enjoy

Went out this morning and it was gone. We put it in a 2.5 gallon icecream bucket with water from the swimming pool (a salt water pool, that is waaaaay out of whack right now) and a rock. I did a quick search, and no sign of it. The pool is only 20 ft away though, so he might have made it there.

I have a thing for paper models of cartoon characters. I'm no particular fan, but this thread made me wonder ... has anyone ever made paper models of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ? I've seen them in pl***ic, but never paper.

Johnny.
