Need help from Current and Prior Sevicemen (and women)
My father was in both the U.S. Coast Guard (onboard the USS Northwind) as well as the U.S. Army. He passed away 10/31/2010 from pancreatic cancer. This past week I was finally able to go down and see his new "home" in the Veteran's Cemetery in Boulder City, Nevada. I was able to get some of his belongings once of which I'm having a hard time identifying and I'm hoping someone here can be of assistance. Below is a photo of what I believe is a lapel pin. Sorry for the glare. Thank you for any help.

that is the branch of service collar device for military intelligence.
its upside down in the your photo the point of the dagger points to the neck of the person wearing it. If you want a new set (for display with his other awards) you can find them here Army U.S. and Military Intel Enlisted Branch of Service Collar Device |
