My very first model was Allen Rose' Titanic back in 1980. After that no more until I was disabled in 2004 and had nothing to do. I had to lay down most of the time for over a year and a half. This was something I could do in that position. My first model was Dan Shippey's free Redstone rocket. Then I went on to the others in his collection of Gemini capsules. I even started selling them on e-bay (completed) but I got Dan's permission first of course.

I can see it ... her ... now -- a paper figure of the St. Pauli girl! And wasn't Bud MacKensie part of Budweiser ads, and wouldn't he make a cute model?
