I build mainly 1/33 in aircraft, although I do have about a dozen 1/50 Wilhelmshaven. Two I'm working on right now are 1/50 I-16's. I have done ships in paper like Titanic 1/200, but have yet to try Armor which is very exciting to me and in paper mostly available in 1/25. Buildings are helter scelter in scale and I don't really care as long as it isn't too small. I've also made quite a few White Wings, which are incredible fliers! (lost some to thermals).

The main thing is fun and enjoyment

Regards,
Jeff

1/1 is a great scale too.

I'm sure I'm not the only one to be patiently waiting on a certain 1/12 scale.... Ok, thinking it would look great at 1/4 scale.

1:33 for small airplanes, 1:48 or so for very large ones.
1:200 or 1:700 for airships.
1:250 for ships. For reasons I cannot fully explain I like it better than 1:200. I likes to keep to the same scale for size comparisons and dioramas.
1:100 seems to work out well for me with trains.
As for architecture, unless the building is intended to be grouped with others, scale does not seem to matter much, as long as there is a good balance between detail and fussiness.

1:33 for me is the best for all models specially airplanes but when i go for guns nothing can beat a good 1:1 but it's more of a personal taste than an actual rule

I ticked 1/33, but stretch that to include 1/32 and 1/35...
