Wow, don't know how I managed it?!?

Hmm, got a PM from zealot , the timbre of which was rather rude, demanding a reply, so I replied and got banned. From what I could gather it was for not posting any models. Hmm, I wish I could design, especially like some of the work from people on here who I feel are incredibly gifted! And/or for not posting pics of my builds. OK, I admit guilt on that, I don't feel my abilities are up to the standard of the designs or most of the build pics I see. And that's without the fact I can only occasionally, by pure chance, manage to get a computer to upload anything (my son does most of that for me ((OK , OK, I'm really old fashioned)))

So, anywho, I'd like to use this opportunity to sincerely thank any and everyone's models which I have downloaded and built. I apologise for not posting pics and hope my disabilities don't upset anyone. Many of the models I download I make and give to kids who's families can't buy cool toys, many are used by the kids in the youth group I run and a heck of a lot have been made and used by my children for enjoyment, school projects and even assignments. ( By the way, I like to attach a downloaded from/designed by, tag on each model used)

I wouldn't worry about posting your builds on this forum. More builds the merrier I say

Sorry, you were treated that way over there, but glad you can feel at home here. I know what you mean about the joy of giving away these little gems. I'll have to remember your credit-giving. I should do that on the models I give away.

Hello everyone...
I was also a member of Zealot, I had asked a question about a certain designer-builder and POW Batman...was told that I had to make more posts or be banned for inactivity! 5 years of membership gone! Boy...I`ll never type that name again! About 30 days later I tried to signin and that was the end of that! I guess that I should have read the fine print!

You mean... banned there by not posting or building models?
If all forums followed that policy then 95% of the members in each community would be banned. That's not healthy for any community.

Being banned from Zealot is kindof like being told you can't launch your boat in a lake with no water. I wouldn't let it concern you too much.

Did any one really think about the name of the community? Zealot means fanatics. If you want to join a group of fanatics, you will be treated with that attitude.

I do not know anything about that site, but the mere name turned me off

Well Brian, I am gobsmacked!

I do think you have to apologise here for not posting - rather just enjoy.

Sometimes you just cannot model. Like me now - I want to, but I am flat out at work, home late and too tired at weekends (when I also shop etc etc). But I get time to crawl into bed a surf this sit a bit!

And I will model again just now anyway - no big deal. Who cares, aside from me!
