Gave some to my grandkids, got a few airplanes/spaceships in storage trying to figure out what to do with them. Only have a couple on permanent display. But then, I've only been doing this a couple of years. 20 years from now, who knows?

Some of the older ones I give away. Some get blown up. Most get kept for wargaming...

The Viking Way of Dealing with a Large Paper Model Collection

Kaizo Papercraft

Scroll down the page and watch the videos (if you can, beware, there are some pretty gruesome scenes. No cats were injured in making the videos on this site.)

I have a few hanging or filling shelves that fit a particular niche. However, the majority are given away to kids who can't afford cool toys. I also use many of them with the youth group I run (they make heaps too).

A really frustrating space battelship yamato that i tried to make five times before waking up to the fact my computer was rescaling parts, turned into a battle on the lawn with my son, we lined them up like old ships of the line and fired matchstick cannons (with lit matches of course) until the line was just a pile of ash, much to the horror of my wife who stood with the fire blanket, shaking her head and clucking her tongue at us.

Right now I am in the process of moving and the new place has no room for all my models so I have donated all of them to the school I work at, they have them all displayed in the library. The kids love them.

I usually hang them up or display them on shelves. There are a few of my models at Boeing since my parents both work there :D

Dear Lonnie:
If Shelf space is at a minimum I make card stock shelf and stick the paper models in odd corners all over the house. I put the pattern in the download section for anyone to use. Couple of glue dots and good to go.
Enjoy,
MILES

I give some away, hang some on the wall, display several in my campus office. I don't know what the *&^%$#@! I will do with the 52-inch-long Bismarck. Cripes a'mighty!
