What colour is the bear???????

First, lets deal with your riddle.

A circular house- Yes, that is possible, so then go to the next step.

All the windows face south. OK, then what?

He sees a bear thru the window. ( so he is looking thru one of the windows, that means there are at least two windows ).

What color is the bear?

Most bears are either brown and some are black or white ( for polar bears ).

The answer is most likely brown colored bear.

Now why? Who says that there are windows all around 360 degrees? It was not specified in the problem statement. Maybe there are only two small ports ( windows ) facing south because the house is in the mountains and is surrounded all around except the south side by mountains ( why have windows if you cant see out ).

So the house is probably in an area that is not in the north pole ( the north pole is not a land mass , it is a point on the ice ). Why build a house on the north pole on the ice? So if it is not in the north pole, then the bears are most likely brown in color since it is more statistically prevalent than black bears.

The answer is Brown color.

There you have it. Logic be dammed, you can Always poke holes in anybody's theories or stories and come up with another plausible answer.

Now, the important question? Why start this line of questions? Did we run out of paper modeling topics?

I shall now retire to my square house.

Talking The nerdy response to this riddle

In the geeky world of us papermodellers, the answer "color of the bear" would most likely be... green.
In the papermodel world, the most popular "round house" would be... The ISS.
All windows face south (and north, east and west, as it's constantly moving in orbit). The only "bear" one would see out the window would be a Russian Soyuz. And most of them are green.
But if you saw a "Dragon", it would be white.

My head is spinning. I must take my super sharp little knife and cut pieces of excellent paper into tiny bits and glue them together, then spend months or years in a futile attempt to preserve the result from the depredations of the Cat Monster. Well, it helps me to stay sane. I think everybody here should try it.
