Matthew;
Curt is right. Many of us here, and many people everywhere have gone through what you are experiencing just now. And all those other people in your High School who seem so happy are probably just better than you think you are at putting up a good front. I think that most people would agree that the High School years suck. It does get better. Hang in there, and don't forget that you have friends here, even though a lot of us are eccentric old farts. Well, some of us... |

Matthew,
Just read your post.. I decided to send you a private mail because I think these matters are personal.. I did feel almost the same like you do now. I have seen and suffered a lot of trouble in my life, had a burn out 5 times, a.s.o.. The only thought that kept me going, that supported me was that there is ALWAYS light in the darkness !!! Really all the time. You know, even in the darkest times I remembered what is written in John1:5, there is light in the darkness... in hospital, sitting beside my dead grandson or my daughter with cancer, in courts when I was falsely accused (and was aquited), in burnouts, and so on, I always remembered the light... Young friend, please do not give in. I will send you a private mail |

Stay calm. Do not do anything stupid. There are unsolved problems. You need only take a deep breath and get help now! Talk to your parents, grandparents, uncles, teachers ... any. Just do not try to handle it alone. When I was a teenager, I lost several girlfriends and friends to find that no one liked me. In fact, I closed it and I was not going to where they were was. If he had surrendered to the moments of weakness, would have lost his wife, children and friends I have today. You're just starting your life, have plenty to enjoy yet.

I am still trying to hold on but the fog is setting in. I am forgetting basic things now, I have troubles sleeping at night, I am having troubles being hungry and I randomly have anxiety attacks.
I will try and talk to my counselor about this situation and maybe they can help. For now, please let me be alone. I need time to think. -RunwayOneSixRight (Matthew) |
