Punxsutawney Phil says...

Punxsutawney Phil says six more weeks of winter! Oh joy!

I'll just do what I do every year and put on my DVD of Ground Hog Day!

And here I thought that global warming would put old Phil out of business.

Thousands of people gather around a fake tree stump where some guy in a topcoat reaches in and forcefully pulls the rodent out. Then thousands of camera flashes go off. The rodent sees its shadow.
No sh*t, Sherlock.

So true! I feel bad for the animal. I don't care how many years it's done, it's got to be a little frightening and disconcerting.

Wish I only HAD to get out of bed once a year!

It's just first week of Feb. 6 more weeks isn't exactly too much more.
Been a difficult winter for some of the US but we need the water distributed around the country.

Does this actually confirm that March 20th will be the first day of spring? Because it's already printed on my calendar....How on earth did the printing company know in advance????

Grin,
