I saw this Lanc a few years ago in Winnipeg, it was fantastic. I wish I could be in the UK to see this.

Yeah, I saw this news via Facebook the other day.
My parents live in Bournemouth in Southern England. When the Lancs are together in August, the Bournemouth Air Show is also on!
I have booked 2 weeks leave, and myself and my girlfriend will be going there (from Holland) especially for both events.
We are REALLY looking forward to it!!!!!!

I'm hoping to get to at least one event to see them and just as importantly hear them.

I've been following this Lanc around for years and love seeing it in the air or running up on the tarmac. I usually visit the CWHA museum in Hamilton ON. a couple times a year.

I don't know if the Lancaster is part of the deal with the Hawker Typhoon going to Canada but I'm willing to let them borrow my Tiffy for a bit for the chance of 2 Lancasters in the air together, just for a bit mind, I want her back!.

I understand that there is only 1 genuine Typhoon left in the world, is this correct?

If so, is the Typhoon coming to Canada this aircraft or a replica? When will this happen and where will it be stationed?
