I have seen this myself when I was working on a project at Edwards AFB.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aurora_(aircraft)

Black Horizon: Texas mystery aircraft also photographed over Kansas

"In February and March of 2014, an aircraft matching this description was photographed multiple times over Kansas and Texas in daylight."

Do you live in Texas or Kansas?

Aurora wiki correction: Aurora (aircraft) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

-Gil

P.S. The URL copy and paste function somehow does not work on the Aurora_(aircraft) wiki page - strange...,

Thanks for the link Gil. Noticed that the photo is an Xplane 3 model. Interesting they would use that to show what it might look like.

I thought the same things a few weeks back when I spotted a trail with the donuts on a rope effect.

It was a commercial airliner.
