But, isn't it a bit dangerous for a civilian airliner to fly over a combat zone a the first place?
Haven't anyone set up a no-fly zone over Ukraine? Following the news on TV right now...

and ground radar picks up signals from the air crafts transponder, so anyone looking at that radar screen could see... MH-17,, air speed and 330 but some trigger happy Russian blew it out of the sky,,, lets call a spade a spade
and no word if Russia or the Ukraine put out any warnings about the airspace |

First the Russians and KAL007. Now ProRussians bring down an airliner. My sympathies to the families and loved one of those on board the flight. Find the fiends who did this and charge them with 295 counts of premeditated murder.

I think everybody needs to stop and take a couple of deep breathes until more accurate information gets out there. Unfortunately it only takes a very small group with the weapons available anymore to do something like this. In my job, I get to observe a lot of the worse of humans and its basically confirmed my feeling that most people still haven't developed past the solve anything with a club. And technology just keeps making bigger clubs available beyond the capability of lots of people's brains to safely deal with.

Indeed, let's not judge before the truth is known. And let's think about the people that were on the plane and those who will never see them again. |
