Monthly Blood Sacrifice for August 2014

YOUR ATTENTION PLEASE!

The monthly bloodletting for the month of August 2014 has been made early by yours truly. You may go about your daily cutting, slicing, stabbing, etc. with no fear of harm. No thanks are necessary, it's just part of the job.

Yours very truly,

Your humble design moderator

Now where's that cotton-pickin' box of bandages....and tape, gotta have tape......

Just sliced my fingertip, not off, just real good. Think I can get by without stitches, we'll see. My real concern was the Warhammer 40k Truck I'm experimenting with. It's a white model and I didn't want to get blood on it. I do have priorities y'know.

Depends on how deep and how large the cut is. As often as you seem to do this, you know the drill. Keep it clean and bandaged well. But would still consider medical attention if it is really deep.

Hi Elliot,

You deserve one of these. All for the cause of paper modelling.

I managed to cut my thumb deep enough to cut a nerve last month. About a quarter of the tip of my thumb is still numb a month after the stab, as apparently is half my brain for using an exacto knife as a prying instrument.

That's cute, Bernie, but what would you use for clusters? Neither stars nor oak leaves would make sense, but tiny shapes of Number 11 blades might be appropriate.

Oh, my! I thought I was the only one who did such things. Mine's healed now, but at least I got my lock-jaw booster out of it.

Can be quite painful trying to weather a model using all natural ingredients.

Anyone come close to poking an eye out by absentmindedly scratching an itch on the face with the hand that is holding the hobby knife?

I think little band-aids would work too
