WWII Image fader
A friend sent me this link a few days ago and I thought I'd share. Screen sized photos from WWII. Left click on the photo, and WWII melts away and you are left with the view as it appears today - perfectly aligned with the original WWII image. Click again and the WWII image reappears. Hold down the left mouse button for a blended image. Very cool.

Wonderful find, from a museum background I want to know about the technology involved in producing the two pictures into one I love the old historic photos and then a photo of the same place today. This technology takes this a step farther. Thanks, Miles |
