A Year ago Today
Hello All,
I was looking back in my records and realized that Today was the day, while looking for a 1/350 scale Gambier Bay model, I stumbled across this strange new hobby of paper modelling. It was was 1 year ago this friday that I joined this forum. In the past year I have have learned: 1. This is a great hobby (well duh) 2. There are amazingly talented builders and designers out there 3. This is a great hobby for those on limited funds 4. It is pretty addictive once you start 5. You can do just as much in paper as you can in plastic 6. There are many more subject options in paper, which is bad for someone who can't decide what to build. 7. Everyone is extremely supportive and helpful for us beginners So, in summary, I would like to say THANK YOU to everyone on this forum, whether you interacted with me or not. This is a great hobby that I hope to pass along to my children. Thanks again and keep building and posting your builds. Darren P.S. I never did find that Gambier Bay......
