Thanks PK and bgt01. I do have to say, we were "lucky". I've had word from others since then that had, and are having, a much worse time than we are. No matter how bad I think things are, I always seem to hear about something worse happening to someone else. So I can't really complain too much. "Stuff" can be replaced. Now if we could just find Opie...

Sorry to hear about your troubles
There's never a good time of year to go through what you did, but this time of year seems to make things even worse. Wish I lived closer to give you a helping hand an a place to crash for a few days.
Don't worry, things will get better. Trust me. I survived Huricane Sandy. My house and all our personal effects didn't, but my family and I made it out safely. I lost my house, two cars and just about everything else but trust me, even with all that, I got through, as you will!! Just try to look on the bright side and hang in there. Once again, sorry to hear about your problems. |

Thanks, Rich. You prove my previous point, though. You and your family had it much worse than we do/did. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you, but I'm glad everyone made it out OK. All Sandy did here was knock down a whole bunch of tree limbs, and damage my shed.
