Thanks PK and bgt01. I do have to say, we were "lucky". I've had word from others since then that had, and are having, a much worse time than we are. No matter how bad I think things are, I always seem to hear about something worse happening to someone else. So I can't really complain too much. "Stuff" can be replaced. Now if we could just find Opie...

Sorry to hear about your troubles

There's never a good time of year to go through what you did, but this time of year seems to make things even worse. Wish I lived closer to give you a helping hand an a place to crash for a few days.
Don't worry, things will get better. Trust me.
I survived Huricane Sandy. My house and all our personal effects didn't, but my family and I made it out safely. I lost my house, two cars and just about everything else but trust me, even with all that, I got through, as you will!!
Just try to look on the bright side and hang in there.
Once again, sorry to hear about your problems.

Thanks, Rich. You prove my previous point, though. You and your family had it much worse than we do/did. I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you, but I'm glad everyone made it out OK. All Sandy did here was knock down a whole bunch of tree limbs, and damage my shed.
