Wish-List
My wish list for the coming year is pretty short, I have two ships models on my radar that I would like to design in the future.
Both were civilian steamships that Plied the Columbia River during the mid and late 1800's. The first is the sleek side wheeler, "Oneonta" that plied the mid Columbia in the 1860's, and the second is the famed stern wheeler, "Bailey Gatzert" that plied the river from Portland upstream at the turn of the century. The plans to both lay at the Davies Family Research Library in Portland Oregon, a branch of the Oregon Historic society. The plans are so large as to require a third party to reproduce them at a cost, unfortunately, I'm located in Florida and it may be years before I can get there to acquire these plans. So they top my wish list and to see my desire I'll post some images of both maybe someday my wishes will come true. Last edited by FRD; 12-24-2014 at 10:33 AM. |

Maybe someday I'll find a "Secret Santa" in Portland who can make my wishes come true.
