Question ridiculous contest

In the day of the internet, I clicked on the picture to open it and then right click to " search Google for this image" and in a microsecond it found it :

Here is the Skymaster :

https://www.google.ca/search?tbs=sbi...PqczqM3w3lv5Ww

and the same picture of the Junkers Ju 390

https://www.google.ca/search?tbs=sbi...dXGr88ZGYhIhCQ

same for the others. Even the identity of the An-24

http://www.planespotters.net/Aviatio...=Antonov+An-24

I don't want to be a spoiler, but it's like competing against the computer.

This is not even remotely satisfying

Isaac

I quite enjoy Partworks - I did the rally cars (already had a big collection of diecast rally cars), tractors and now are doing the trains. Also pick up the odd issue of anything that interests me - like the odd helicopter.
yup will do/post the models every two weeks when i get them in new thread

There are those of us who pride ourselves on our knowledge of the real world.
Not how to google everything. If you do not find this thread, or this type of thing "satisfying", don't read the thread.

I tried your "click on image, right click on search google" item. My browser does not even have that
as an option.

Ray,

if you use the Chrome browser, it is part of the right click context menu

Why is it that whenever anyone starts off by saying "I don't want to .... but ..." it's a sure, certain and predictable thing that that is precisely what they've just done or are going to do.

It's not how I identified the Antonov but working in SeaMonkey right click and copy the location of a thumbnail in a post and put that url in as the Google search term and you may well be presented with the option of "For matching images, try search by image". Doesn't always appear for every image.

Since our personal fund of real knowledge is now superfluous perhaps we should all now concentrate on building projects of virtual subjects

Any thoughts on those diamonds?
Only that the upper & lower vertices line up exactly with the prop discs (can be checked against the details shown in the drawings at http://modelist-konstruktor.com/imag...el_an_26/3.jpg but it's not a standard symbol and there's no sign of anything similar on others of the Antonov breed. They may just be somebody's odd idea for a warning.

thank you i could not have said it better myself.i will add that if i came into a thread and found it ''ridiculous" or "unsatisfying" i would just leave the thread.I certainly would not feel the need to rubbish the thread

Rick,

I do use chrome, and I tried the right click context. Mine, for whatever reason, doesn't have a "search google for this image" option.

But then again, my computer is as old as I am!
