Cool looking, but weather would be a concern as you say. I wonder what would happen if it got caught in one of the afternoon wind-dust storms that pops up here in AZ. Or one of those big thunderstorm, hail, lightening and tornados like I remember as a kid in OK and TX. Instant confetti!

I'm thinking it's more like a flying RV. Power comes from solar panels and generators, water and sewage stored in tanks you dump and restock when you land. I do like my privacy though, so mine would have a few less windows...
