DSL actually is often a good option - may be worth trying....

I have all my DNS settings changed to Google....did that on day one with this new ISP last year. The connection kept dropping on me everyday when we first got this ISP. When I got the website this week once after switching out the modem, it was using the ISP DNS servers, but of course just that one time is all it worked.
I even tried changing my DNS to other free DNS servers and that didn't work. I've had the DSL service here in our area and it wasn't a good service here....not as fast either. The cable internet is fastest in my area. Of course, I think the Gigabit fiber will be faster, but haven't considered that service since its around $89 for the basic service last I checked. But in my neighborhood, there is a lot of construction right now and they keep cutting the DSL/Gigabit lines. Been out for about a week and a half for some of my neighbors this month alone. |

Funny that Spectrum is having this issue. I am a marketer and I talk to people on the phone all day long, emphasis on long.
Roughly the time that TW became Spectrum, I started having issues with calls dropping mid-call. Took me three weeks to determine that it wasn't my phones. This only happens when I talk to folks on Spectrum. I'm not sure it relates, but my gut tells me that the issues are related
