Hi everybody!

I know there are a lot of new members here since I was last active. I just want to say hi to anyone who remembers me. I kind of withdrew when my disability flared up and my body went sout. I had a heart attack about 4 mos. ago as a result of my chronic pain and the stress it caused. But hey I didn't post this to whine. My grandson has reached the age where he is very interested in paper modeling now and he has kept me busy building everything he likes on the Canon Creative Works site. So he went from dinasoars to animals. He loves it. We no sooner finish one and he is pushing me on to the next. So it has motivated me to get back on the horse and see what I can still do. I a, really tempted to start something challenging but I can't sit so it gets difficult trying to hold my arms up using scissors. Using a knife is challenging because
I have to use a lap desk with my knees up. But seeing you guys pressing on has helped me realize how much I enjoyed this hobby and miss it. So I am testing the waters again. I haven't decided what I want to try yet but I will keep checking in on your progress and projects. I did build a specially designed repaint of the B24J from E Cardmodels that was a tribute to my father in law who flew one during the war over Germany. I might post some pictures of it but I have to admit it wasn't quite up to my standards but the best I could do under the circumstances. Anyway just getting my feet wet and wanted to say hi.

It's good that you have standards that you have not reached. If I ever built something that I was totally satisfied with, I would have to quite modelling (there would not be any challenge left to make it interesting). It's the old, "I can do better next time" that keeps us in the game. Welcome back!

Good to see you back. Just take it slow and steady, no need to rush anything. As they say, Rome wasn't built in a day. Neither is a paper model of it.

Glad to see you back, Tim. The B-24J looked terrific. Hope to see more models in the future.
