Both "Impressively Nuts" and you have set a new goal for me.

I haven't worn a curve into the edge of my ruler yet, but I have worn all the numbers and lines off.

Day after tomorrow, I'll turn 50. I designed and built my first paper model (Stutz Bearcat) about 37 years ago...
Keep at it!

Must have been telekinesis; you concentrated on the straight edge and it bent.

My worn out straight edge has been relegated to catapulting paper wads at my cats.

(Cat, catapult: a coincidence? I don't think so!)

How did you learn about paper modeling? I never learned about it until I was about 45 and I was searching the web for pictures of Mercury Redstone to print and wrap around an Estes model rocket. I found paper models and started building them and model rocketry kind of fell by the wayside. So basically, I learned about paper modeling after the arrival of the web. No one I knew had done paper modeling. In fact, to this day I have never met another paper modeler in real life!
