Questionable paper model site..
Can someone tell me if this site is legit .. from the looks of it most if not all
Models have been or are still free from other designers .. I am mostly knowledgeable about the space and some aircraft but I see a lot of ibis and some from Neil's site .. please prove me wrong .. Pirate site, URL removed Last edited by rickstef; 04-05-2017 at 09:05 PM. Reason: Pirate url deletion

Lots of Uhu's models FOR SALE on that site. I doubt any funds are making their way to the designers. Most of the designs are free downloads from the designers sites. I'd avoid this site.

Exactly what I thought ... I rarely shop on sites like this .. I found him through a Facebook group ... it's so frustrating when someone like this takes credit for an act of time and heart goes into a model like UHU'S no wonder he doesn't like to distribute them much ..

It's sad. On social media, people like to share, without considering whether it is right.
Pinterest has probably half of the Fiddlers Green catalog, amongst others. They also delete the designers' info, and sometimes link to other sites selling the models. I have a special fondness for vintage models. People even have the gall to claim copyright on these old treasures and sell them. Depressing

In the future, and as standing policy.
If you have any question about any site where you might think there maybe pirated model kits, alert a moderator or administrator, this way you don't drive up the ranking of the site in an online search Rick

This is (possibly) the main downside of this medium - paper - for models. It is so much cheaper /quicker / easier to make copies of people's works than attempt a copy of something in p*stic.
