Did you have another one for SAE fasteners?

Yep, and it is a left handed adjustable wrench, too.
Advancements in technology can be overwhelming sometimes.

We had our supply guy searching for weeks for an oil-filled fuse.
Drilled a small hole in one end of a blown fuse, filled it with oil using a needle oiler bottle. Then soldered the end and sanded the excess solder off. |

Adjustable wrenches are the standard tool in this part of the world, being used as a lever, hammer and of course for every single nut.
Measurements are irrelevant as nuts in Africa are as a concequence round. -------------------- On a separate note I am fortunate enough to own a Metrinch socket and spanner set. Brilliant tools. https://www.amazon.com/Original-Metr...Metrinch&psc=1

We sent a Midshipman Third Class on a hunt for the stock number of the bubble in the inclinometer on the bulkhead of the Engineering Central Control Station compartment.
Those Metrinch sockets look interesting. I have a set of metric and SAE sockets. I also have a set of metric and SAE wrenches, or spanners as some would call them. Two places you can find the Milwaukee adjustable wrenches with the metric scale on one side and the inch scale on the other side are Home Depot and Amazon. Probably could find them where ever Milwaukee brand hand tools are sold.

Doug, the nice thing about the Metrinch sockets is that they work on either metric or imperial fittings. They also grip the sides as opposed to the corners, so stripped heads do not arise.
