Dance the Bat-tusi forever.

I just read that my Batman, Adam West passed away from a battle with leukemia, he was 88.

Holy Funeral Arrangements Alfred

Did you know at one point he was considered to be James Bond?

RIP an Adam West...

He was supposedly offered the role in Diamonds are Forever
...but I've only heard that story from him.
So, I don't know.
West said he turned it down because he wasn't English?

Producer Cubby Broccoli is American.
The first Bond, was on American TV, played by American Barry Nelson.
George Lazenby (Bond before Diamond are Forever, was Australian)
And Fleming's inspiration for Bond was American composer Hoagy Carmichael?!

Somehow I think an American actor still looking to make it big would have jumped at the role.

Me and a friend were at a car show here in Kansas City maybe 15 years ago. Adam West was there signing autographs and they had a 1966 Batmobile there. They were letting you sit in the drivers seat and have your picture taken. Adam was remarking on how much my friend looked like the son of his neighbor down the street. I still remember him doing The Happy Hooker Does Hollywood. Truly a terrible movie. Obviously done for the money, during a slow point in his career. I wish he had gotten to do one of the Dark Knight movies.
