Aaah, thanks Miles. Also makes good sense given the small size of Ransomville - I looked it up and had a read about on Google.

Must be quite a tight community....

Enjoy!

To all my modeling friends and fellow Veterans,,,
HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY.
And Happy birthday Kevin. I think that's very cool
that you were born on July 4th.

At our house we have something on the grill,,,
home made potato salad,,, a nice salad,,,
and home made apple pie for desert.
Our kitties Brumby and Callie will have their favorite foods.
Fancy Feast,,, Party Mix NATURALS Treats,,, ( not too many )
and Metabolic crunches from the vet.
Our roaming kitties we feed outside have
a mix of Friskies and Fancy Feast,,,
and Kitten Kaboodale hard food.
And we always have water out for them too.

Hope you all have a nice 4th of July.
Best Regards,
Gary

Dear Kevin:
Most of the fire depts. in the small towns are volunteer. most of Ransomville folks go to Lewiston they do the best fireworks in the area. I also forgot we will have 1/4 of a watermelon with dinner. I will take some pictures and post later.
Enjoy,
Miles

In many smaller communities the local fire department is involved in the fireworks displays. But regardless of who actually does the shooting, the local fire department is always on hand just in case. I think it's required just about everywhere.

Here, if the Fire Brigade set off fireworks everyone would have a fit!

Differences in perception - fireworks are discouraged here due to the animals, injuries and the security situation.

If anyone took photos of the festivities don't forget to post them!
