Compared to his role in "In The Loop/The Thick Of It" his Doctor is almost cuddly.
(I'd love to hear how Malcom Tucker would describe a Dalek - definately not safe for the kiddies.)

Never have seen a full episode of the program, if they're good stories ok. Since the only times I've seen it at all was when I'd be stuck in a hotel room somewhere. Closest I ever came to seeing a full show was one of the really early ones, maybe even the 1st show, and thought it was horrible. Turned it off and went out about 2/3 of the way through.

I really enjoyed the Time Lady Romana back in the Tom Baker days. They had her regenerate just because she wanted a different look, and because they were changing actresses. She worked out well.

Give her some good stories and let her play the role and it will be fine. If they continue on with the indoctrination into how we should all believe, it will flop. Either way, I won't see it until it streams on amazon prime.

for a small taste of what it could be like, back in the tennant era the episode where companion donna noble obtained all the knowledge of the time lords and defeated davros. it was sorta fun but we always knew the actual Male doctor would be back. I always thought Romana was a beeyotch,? spelling.

never really got into dr. who (grew up in mid-70s), but i do appreciate judi dench as 'M'; lucy liu as 'watson'; fiona shaw as 'richard II'; etc., etc., . . .
