Since you mentioned the "Download" section, both SC-FI and Real Space are completely different genres. I would suggest that the have their own separate sections.

Are the separate sub sections as they exist now sufficient, or do you want a proper separation?

I have a tendency to sort stuff into folders
and then create sub-folders and sub-categories. Which eventually leads to sub-sub-folders and sub-sub-categories...and so on and so on. While keeping things organized it makes looking for things that much complicated. And like Rubenandres says, when perusing topics and new posts on the forums, its easier to find things in one general list. Having to look through subcategories tends to get things overlooked. Obviously some topics merit segregation, but be careful how far you go. Autogyros for example, are helicopters. even though helicopters are not autogyros. Personally I would look for autogyros in the helicopter category.

Science Fiction doesn't necessarily have anything to do with Space or Space Travel.
So why those two are always connected makes no sense. Completely separate topics. But, a Space category could have a Sci Fi subsection for "fantasy" or "fictional" Space topics. Sci Fi as its own category is not restricted to Outer Space or Extraterrestrial topics. It would require sub-categories. There's plenty of terrestrial science fiction. Zombie culture, zombie plague, zombie apocalypse, for example. Futuristic life and sciences. Robots, Artificial Intelligence. Reduction in Income Taxes. Global Warming (according to Trump) ...all science FICTION.

No need to complicate things more. It's fine as is. Only a "rivet counter" would want to fix something that isn't broken.

with aircraft whats modern, cold war anyways.when an aircraft is currently used by some air arms but is obslete in others it gets confusing i would only ask that when model uploads are done that a scale of model be a requirement

Why not all in one section under aviation?
