MG-42 1:1 paper model

There used to be one on PaperCraftSquare but it's gone. The only other I've found is sold on AliExpress. https://www.aliexpress.com/store/pro...045253242.html

Has anyone purchased from AliExpress?

Or does anyone know where I can find a 1:1 MG-42 paper model?

Is PaperCraftSquare even still around? There used to be some interesting models there.

I belive its still around but some of model links are not working.
As for the mg 42 there is a model that was on papercraft square but it is on a russian modeling site which tends to have a lot of pirate models so im not gonna name it. But almost all gun models there are unfolded by members there for open use of the community. So if you venture be carefull.

That file is uncolored and incomplete.

I am surprised this site got thru as it sells design and sells them as originals and monies go to China to make weapons against USA interests!

There is a model of an MG42 on Scribd.
You need an account to download the full size model, but the thumbnails can be captured.
https://www.scribd.com/document/3444...-Nunn-MG42-pdf
The manual is available, maybe it contains enough information to reverse engineer and make a paper model

Ethical issues aside, I would avoid pirate sites unless you are really good at debugging your PC. Many of those sites are infested with malware that even anti virus programs cannot stop.

Aliexpress as a whole is a reputable company, quite a number of people have bought from there, and have been satisfied with their purchases, we are weary of their paper model offers.

We could also ask Jim Nunn(a member here) if he could upload the MG-42 file here, and we then bypass the need to register for Scrib'd
