Interesting stuff about that engine.
I have been to that part of Idaho. Craters of the Moon and Sun Valley. One desolate, the other not so desolate.

Interesting...
I'd heard about the nuclear powered bomber project, but not seen anything but the B-36 test bed which used conventional engines but carried the reactor for tests... Definitely interesting stuff and it'd be great to see more! Some of the "out of the box" thinking of the 50's, like the nuclear powered ramjet cruise missile... seems kinda crazy now but was deadly serious then... Later! OL J R
