Finally back on line
After 21 days in Dial up hell, I'm finally back on line. DSL modem took a dump and bringing replacement from my ISP up took forever. Just got service back this morning. In the meantime, I obtained another computer with upgrade capabilities, but I am trying to like this Windows 10 sh#t. If it doesn't work out, I'm going to replace it with Windows 7.

Nice to see you back.
 My experience with Win10 has been friendly. I found it easier to use than other versions. Just a bit different.

The primary problem I've had with W10 (besides just irritating me with a lot of the useless to me things it forces on you) is still major issues getting it to download photos from my Nikon cameras.

Check which programs (or Apps
 ) are running constantly in the background and see if you can kill some of them.
