It does prove that there's a model out there somewhere, but I'm only finding it on pirate sites.

An excellent find, I had never heard of the publisher ATTIMON before.

An excellent find, I think the publisher ATTIMON is new to a lot of us.

Thanks John, that's the Tatra I bought from GPM. A build thread will be handy when and if I get around to.

Try the second link in my post #10 Wayne. There's a full build shown on there.

It took a bit of trawling through the sludge I (laughingly) refer to as my memory. I think you might be thinking about Bristol cars from the 1950s.
It's the same company that built the aero engines - they also built cars from 1945 to 1972. The cars were superbly engineered and very expensive.

The Tatra was once referred to as better than the Red Army at killing Wehrmacht generals. Apparently the V8 Tatras became a status symbol in Wehrmacht senior ranks during WW2 - however the rear-engined V8s were quite lethal on the autobahns.

Regards,

Charlie

Well if we're gonna chuck in all the third eye wagons I might as well chuck in my favourite ...

1952 Austin A90 Atlantic. UK built to try to infiltrate the US market, but most of those sent over there were returned un-sold, so I should imagine they were pretty rare Stateside. Not many of them left over here either now.

Back in the day it was a luverly motor. 2.7lt but only 4 pistons. Built like a tank. The last one I rode in did three nose tail cartwheels when it found a missing kerb stone at 80mph... not only all four people survived ... we actually drove it home.
