Annoying internet ads
Several years ago I was getting very frustrated with my internet experience due to annoying videos, ads, etc. It became difficult to type an email because of the constantly renewing ads on the right side of my yahoo mail page, which would temporarily hang up the page. I installed adblockplus, and it worked great up until 6 months or so ago when I noticed the ads and videos beginning to creep in again.
I never changed my settings to allow ads on certain pages, so either the folks at adblockplus are taking $ to allow ads on some pages/sites, or those sites have found a way to defeat it. Anyway, yesterday I downloaded the uBlock addon for Firefox, and it works great. If anyone else is experiencing the same degradation of adblockplus, give uBlock a try.

Thanks for the warning.
I use AdBlock Plus, but haven't noticed it yet. Will be in the watch for that phenomenon.

Ublock records its stats. In the past 2 days, it has blocked 2,040 ads.

A while back I switched from the ABP Firefox addon to the Adguard addon. I never see ads at all.
