Strange bird behaviour

Saw this the other day.
A bird alighted on the ground at the foot of some stairs. They were external stairs with three landings. The bird hopped up the stairs to the first landing, made the turn on the landing while still hopping, hopped up the next set of stairs to the second landing, jumped up onto the top hand rail of that landing then flew to the side of the building and clung to the bricks in an upside down orientation. It looked around for a few seconds then flew off.
Hmmmmm.

Very odd. Doesn't sound right to me.

If you see similar again, it may be worth reporting as it could be indicative of a pollution issue?

I think the bird wanted something on the side of the building and decided to take the stairs.

It was around American Robin size and kind of dark. It was too far away to get a good look because of the lighting. Maybe a Mockingbird. Mockingbirds act weird sometimes.

Maybe he wanted to see how the other 9/10th's live... ?? LOL

Maybe he was a redneck bird who told one of his buddies-- "Hey hold my beer and watch this-- I'm gonna screw with the two-leg's mind..." and proceeded to confuse you?? LOL

Just tossing out ideas...

Later! OL J R
