Answering Machine

You know...for the telephone. I wanted to share my answering machine message with you guys. I will not tell you what it says...listen for yourself!
It is a .wmv file and the message starts after I say "GO".
I created the idea, I am speaking with my wife and partner, Catherine.

Feel free to post your own in text (unless you have a link for your own sound file). Don't think we should upload here...

Back when I had a phone with an answering machine, my message was as follows:

Rollin'...Rollin'...rollin'
The tape will soon be rollin'
Speak your words after the beep
Make sure it is after and not before
Otherwise I'll miss some of what you speak
And then it faded out with a chorus of "rollin'...rollin'...rollin'"

It was sung to the tune of Rawhide.

Odd thing was, I would get lots of calls, but no one ever left a serious message. Most were about my inability to sing, or several minutes of laughter.

After a year or so and still getting razzed about the message, I deleted it and let the generic machine message do it work.
