Golden Bear's Pictures of the Week

OK, so this is superfluous and meaningless. But, then again, we cannot have too many POTWs can we?

I have no criteria and many biases so I don't want any complaining. Shoot, I may even put multiple POTWs if I feel like it.

The first POTW is by Nemesis7485 of his build of a FV-101 Scorpion. I'm not a huge armor guy but I would build it anyway if I didn't hate doing the treads.

The GBPOTW grants automatically a Golden Bear Gold Star which some folks will value as highly as their family members or perhaps as the bottle of beer that they just emptied. Wear it in pride Nem!

BTW, if I am p'ing off Jason or Rick by this, let me know and I'll stop.

Just be careful, you might get nominated to be permanent POTW moderator

Hmmm. Perm pick o' the week moderator. I'd certainly nomitate you to moderate this. And this tank is one of the best I've seen, rear view mirrors or not. And I don't envy cutting those tracks.

And didn't someone say that a regular drivers license allowed one to drive on public roads in a tracked vehicle in the UK? That's just odd, guns are banned there but you can drive a tank to work and here it's just the opposite. Just strange the way we people work.

Bliiiimey! I'm honoured to recieve the GBGS and am polishing it as we speak.

However, if the mods decide this unofficial POTW is a no no, you'll have to pry it out of my cold, dead hands!

Thanks for picking it, GB and to those who commented on the model. Now I suppose the pressure is on to prove it wasn't a fluke.

Oh, and I was slightly off about driving tanks on the roads in the UK. It IS perfectly legal but you have to add a "H" rating to your standard driving liscence first.

Great loking bit of armor for a POTW selection, congratulations.

I also second the nomination of GB as POTW moderator, it will keep him busy looking at all the threads.

No, no, Dan has the job of POTW moderator. I am merely indulging myself with this little offshoot. And I'll be happy to shut down if it interferes at all with his efforts.

In the absence of that, we can always do with more POTWs and I can complement the official version.

Besides, you get a Gold Star from mine.
