A Holiday Meeting

After being a member for this forum for a number of years, I had an opportunity this week to meet my friend, Chris Gutzmer, for dinner. Chris was in my part of Virginia on business, and we had a great meal and visit.

I first got to know Chris on the forum then quickly became a customer of his on ECardmodels.com. Later, he invited me to join his staff and I contributed to the site for several years. My involvement has had to tail off over the last couple of years (a situation I hope to reverse), but our friendship has continued to grow. Despite having known each other online and over email for years, this was the first time we'd met in the "analog world".

So here we are; I think this is the first time I've posted a picture with myself in it on this forum.

Meetings like this are always fun. I had the rare pleasure of sitting and chatting with Billy Leliveld in Amsterdam a couple of years ago. It just highlights the fact that this forum is a wonderful catalyst for international friendships.
