15,000 Posts
This is my 15,000th post in the Forum. I never set out to be the top poster; it is just a side effect of my enjoyment at participating in the discussion of paper models and related topics.
Since I joined in 2007, I have made many friends here, some of whom I have had the pleasure of meeting in person. Thanks for the friendship, the knowledge you have shared with me, and for all the wonderful models that I have seen designed and built over the years. “Top poster” is an ephemeral status. The real coin of the realm in this forum is skill at paper model design and building. I love the craft, but am not a very skilled paper modeler. I also build slowly and am easily distracted, so the Forum is littered with incomplete threads of models I hope to finish someday. My admiration goes to the talented designers and builders, those who tirelessly administer this Forum, and those who make paper models available commercially or for free. Believe me, I know the difference between their very real contributions to this Forum and just talking a lot. Keep on scoring, cutting, folding, and pasting. Paper beats rock every time. Don

Congratulations my friend!
Don and many others here were so welcoming to me when I began posting. I felt accepted right away and everyone has been most helpful. This is truly a great community and I am proud to know all of you.
