New Blackhawk Movie
Steven Spielberg is making a movie about the Blackhawks for DC and Warner Bros. I'm curious as to what plane they will use.

Grumman XF5F although would give a pass for XF-90 version.

Depends on what era he sets them in. And which aircraft company pays to have them fly their current or potential plane.

The also used the Grumman Skyrocket, even Fiddlers Green has a version of it.

I know they used the Skyrocket. But any movie is gonna be based on the director's interpretation. As an example, I submit pretty much any remake from the past 10 years.

Not a big Spielberg fan, but he does seem to have a thing about nostalgia and retro. So hoping it is in a vintage setting. Then if it is successful they can move on to a couple of my other favorite obscure DC series: The Atomic Knights and Adam Strange (although I've heard the character is in the new Krypton movie).
