We sent an FC3 to the bridge to request permission to crank down the mast so we could pass under the Coronado Bay Bridge.
The XO gave his permission to request permission from the CO. I still don't know how the rest of the bridge crew kept a straight face when he asked the CO for permission to crank down the mast. But the CO was NOT amused.
