Ok, it's been over a year, but I have not let the dream die! I present to you,, TankBot2.0 - Look Ma No Wires!

Paper up top, 3D printed frame and legs below. The top is based on my first tankbot, the cylinder shaped one. I can't find the post right now, but I'll link it when I do.
This thing is totally home made, a friend of mine took my designs and hardware and made it work. He was pretty amazing. I sent him a box of parts, he sent me back a walking quadruped platform. We are working on a hexapod version now, so I hope to get the blocky tankbot going soon. That's the one in the previous videos.

Started with a coat of flat black followed by a coat of English Ivey Green.

Here is the final version of the first walking Tankbot! I have some more paper/electronic projects coming down the pipeline son(ish)!
Btw, there is also a little soundtrack I added ontop of the video sound. My daughter tells me this reminds her of The Mandolorian. High praise indeed!
